BridgeTEFL certifications are recognized and accepted worldwide, although minimum requirements to teach English as a foreign language vary by country, particularly related to minimum education degree levels. The regions where it is most widely accepted are Latin America and Asia. In the USA, accredited organizations typically require a bachelor’s degree and teaching experience (see next FAQ about teaching in the USA). Successful completion of a TEFL certification does not guarantee employment in any country.
